We are thrilled to have Juniper here! He's a lovely US import buck from very strong dairy lines. He appraised VG85 as a yearling.
Juniper's dam is SGCH Blythmoor SS Samse 3*M. She has had a very successful show career and was appraised at EEEE 90 in 2016. She has produced a number of SG daughters, and many who have LA'd 90. Her sire GrCh Mystic Acres Snapdragon +B was awarded Elite status in 2015. Her breeder reports that she has a lovely udder, high and well attached, with excellent texture and excellent orifice size, very easy to milk.
Juniper's sire is Elfin Acres F Hawthorne (who resides at Yellow Point Farm) Hawthorne has been making huge improvements on his daughters and is proving to be quite the buck. He recently appraised at EX 90 at the age of six and a half. His dam is SGCH The Lilac Twinkletoes 1*M. She is an Elite doe and appraised at EEEV 91, won the ANNDA Total Performer Award in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and was on the ADGA Top Ten list for production in 2014, producing 1260lbs of milk. Hawthorne's full sister Elfin Acres F Ivy Rose is also an Elite doe with SG status, LA'd VEEE 90 in 2017, and produced 1270lbs of milk in her 4th lactation.
