We are so very happy to have had the opportunity to purchase Poet from Curl Creek Farm! He is packing some serious milking genetics and we are really hoping he passes these traits on to his kids. His sire, Chenango-Hills Harlequin (US import) was appraised EX94 in 2016. Harlequin's dam, Chenango-Hills Bouncy Trixie is a finished Grand Champion as well as a powerhouse milker. At only 18.5'' tall, she produced 1223lbs of milk in 291 days on her fourth lactation, and has placed in the ADGA Top Ten for production in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and on the AGS Top Ten in 2013. Harlequin's paternal granddam, Rosasharn Haiku (2010 ADGA National Champion), placed #1 for production on the ADGA and AGS in 2011, milking 1540lbs in 345 days. Harlequin's sister Chenango-Hills Lillibelle also placed on the ADGA Top Ten for production in 2013 and 2014.

Poet's dam, Sambuca Splash, comes from a line of strong producers here in Canada. She was giving 1 1/2 liters/day in her second freshening, and has a well supported, correct mammary system. She is an elegant, correct doe and consistently throws lovely kids with excellent dairy character.
