Furthur smb looks like rain
Sire: Sugar Moon Beau Day Shas
Dam: Furthur DM Pouring Velvet
Dam: Furthur DM Pouring Velvet
Rain freshened for the first time with twins in 2019. She has lots of milk, a well attached udder, and fantastic udder texture/orifice size. I'm hoping to see more medial division develop, and hopefully an increase in teat size, through this lactation and into the next. She peaked at just under 2 liters a day in her first freshening, and is maintaining at 1.5 liters/day 3 months in.
Her dam Velvet has a stunning mammary and is a very prolific milker, feeding quints this year with milk to spare. She is a paternal sister to Furthur DM Kentucky Rye who went reserve Grand Champion and Best Udder at the 2017 East National Show.
Her sire Beau Day Shas is a son of the legendary doe ARMCH SGCH NC PROMISEDLAND BEAU-NITA 2*M 3*D. Her list of accomplishments is seemingly endless. She was the 2008 & 2010 ADGA / AGS Breed Leader for Milk Production (producing 1,530 and 1,630lbs)! She was also #1 on the USDA's Elite Doe List for 2016, ranked in the 99th percentile with the highest Reliability (REL) 72% of any living Nigerian Dwarf Doe. She classified VEEE 91, and among her many show wins is a Best Udder in Show (all breeds competing), and the list goes on!
Can't wait to watch little Rain mature, hoping for great things from this doe!
